Udzungwa Mountains that are rich with uniqueness in nature and wildlife featuring primates which include some that are only found in this park which will give an exceptional adventure experience. You will be able to trek these endangered primates and have a hike to the park’s magnificent waterfalls.
After breakfast drive to Udzungwa National Park gate, upon arrival you will check-in at the park headquarters and thereafter you start hiking to Sanje Waterfall which is about 170m above sea level dropping in four different stages, Sanje the waterfall is the highest waterfall in Tanzania National Park system and here it is a cool place for swimming with fantastic views.
The hiking will take 5hrs to hike and return and on your way, you will be rewarded with encounters with primates like monkeys, get to watch the unique and rare monkey primates such as the endangered Red Colobus Monkey and the Sanje Crested Mangabey only found in this park, also watch birds, butterflies, plants and some reptiles which will give you a memorable experience. You will have your lunch in the park, return back and start your journey back to the lodge.
